and since today seems to be a day of praising our artist friends, let me add my admiration... of both Miguel and Anne.. two precious souls indeed.

I just viewed the final portrait of Anne-Elizabeth today and wanted to add my very profuse praise for the wonderful painting you have created. Anne has been such a supportive and dear artist friend to me ever since I joined the FAA "family" nine months ago. You have captured her beauty and sweetness, her warmth and extraordinary kindness. I am commenting on your superbly done work Miguel...and adding a quote from famous art magazine...so please read it..and maybe after you have digested it..please stop calling yourself a copy cat...please? " Some art experts have a real hard time distinguishing between reproduction art and the real thing...this is especially true if the artist is skilled in this art form...and yes...reproduction creation is an art form by itself.There is a skill that is necessary to insure a realistic depiction of the masterpiece." So do you Miguel?? You do have the skill..and we can see this is realistic depiction of Anne's photo...get used to it! You are very talented!! Bravo!
